Are credit scores rated on a curve? Will mine go up as more people keep defaulting?

My credit scores are surprisingly (to me) pretty good. Are they based at all on so many other people’s scores going down?

Good gawd, no. Credit is on personal merit. We could all be honest or all sleaze balls, it really does not matter what other people are doing.

There is no curve. Enjoy it. Not everyone has good credit.

I still can’t seem to understand why there are three credit companys that have a say..shouldn’t it just be one!?
